Detailed Description:
To improve traffic flow and reduce congestion within urban zones, Al Qaryah was entrusted with designing an urban layout and conducting topographic surveying for a proposed ring road in Afif Governorate, with a total length exceeding 18 kilometers. The goal was to connect regional roads and ease traffic pressure inside the city.
The team conducted thorough field surveys using Total Stations and RTK GPS, and analyzed land layers and terrain slopes to identify the most feasible and environmentally responsible road alignments. Regulatory maps were developed showing the proposed route, access points, and intersections with existing roads.
Coordination with municipal authorities ensured minimal property displacement and suitable alternatives. A 3D digital model of the road and surrounding area was also produced to aid review and final approvals.
