National Housing Company NHC-1

As part of supporting efforts to develop real estate assets and enhance the operational efficiency of buildings, Abak Engineering Consultants has completed the assessment and renovation works of NHC Tower 1, owned by the National Housing Company, located in Al Sahafa District on Olaya Road, and built on an area of approximately 3,100 square meters.

This project aligns with the National Housing Company’s direction toward improving the quality of its real estate assets, enhancing operation and maintenance efficiency, and ensuring full compliance with the Saudi Building Code and approved safety regulations in the Kingdom.

NHC Tower 1 represents one of the company’s key administrative buildings. The project required a comprehensive engineering assessment covering the building’s current condition, including architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems, in addition to security and safety systems. The objective was to identify development opportunities, implement improvements, and enhance overall performance efficiency.

The project scope included the following:

• Comprehensive architectural assessment of the building

• Review of mechanical and electrical systems (MEP)

• Evaluation of security, safety, and fire protection systems

• Assessment of compliance with the Saudi Building Code

• Review of Civil Defense requirements and verification of compliance

• Preparation of technical reports including solutions and development recommendations

All works were carried out in accordance with best engineering practices to ensure the highest levels of safety and operational efficiency.
